01 - 4 slices sourdough or brioche bread
→ Cheese & Filling
02 - 120 g Brie cheese, sliced
03 - 1 small Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
04 - 2 tablespoons honey
→ Butter
05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
→ Garnish (optional)
06 - 2 small strips roasted red bell pepper (for flame)
07 - 2 thin chive stems (for wick)
# Directions:
01 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
02 - Lightly butter one side of each bread slice.
03 - Place two slices of bread buttered side down on a clean surface. Layer sliced Brie evenly, then add apple slices. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over each sandwich.
04 - Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up, pressing gently to secure.
05 - Cook sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until bread is golden and cheese is melted, pressing gently with a spatula to seal.
06 - Trim sandwich edges to form clean rectangles. Stand each sandwich upright, placing a roasted red pepper strip as the flame and a chive stem as the wick.
