# Directions:

01 - Whisk soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika in a large bowl until smooth.

04 - Place marinated meat cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary.
05 - Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until meat is golden, caramelized, and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
06 - Transfer bites to a serving platter, drizzle with any remaining sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped chives or green onions. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Ready in under half an hour, so you can make them even when guests text theyre already on their way.
  • The honey caramelizes into a glossy, crisp edge that makes each bite feel indulgent without any deep frying.
  • Works with turkey or chicken, and even tastes better the second time you make it because youll know exactly when to shake the basket.
02 -
  • Dont skip shaking the basket halfway through, I learned this the hard way when half my bites were pale and the other half were charred.
  • If you want extra caramelization, brush a tiny bit more honey on the bites in the last 2 minutes, but watch them closely or theyll go from glossy to burnt in seconds.
03 -
  • Use a meat thermometer to check doneness instead of cutting into a piece and losing all those juices.
  • Toast your sesame seeds in a dry pan for 2 minutes before sprinkling, it wakes up the flavor and makes them taste almost nutty.
