# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Building the bagel board feels like a grown-up take on playing with your food, except the results are delicious and beautiful.
  • Everything can be prepped ahead, making it a true stress-free showstopper for laid-back gatherings.
02 -
  • If the bagels are sliced too far in advance, they dry out and lose their soft, pillowy texture.
  • Arranging the toppings in clusters by color makes the whole board look like a party, even if you wake up groggy.
03 -
  • If your serving board isn’t big enough, doubling up on parchment or butcher paper lets you expand onto the table itself.
  • Scatter flaked sea salt over avocado slices to win over even hesitant eaters.
