07 - 1 tsp salt

10 - 1 cup barbecue sauce (plus more for serving)
11 - ½ cup chicken broth or water
12 - 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
13 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

→ Sandwiches

# Directions:

01 - Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
02 - Pat pork shoulder dry with paper towels and thoroughly coat with the spice rub.
03 - Place seasoned pork in the slow cooker.
04 - Whisk barbecue sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce together, then pour over the pork.
05 - Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
06 - Remove pork from slow cooker and shred using two forks.
07 - Skim fat from cooking liquid, return shredded pork to slow cooker, and mix to coat with sauce. Add extra barbecue sauce if desired.
08 - Toast sandwich buns if desired, pile pulled pork on buns, and top with coleslaw and pickles if using. Serve immediately.
