# What You'll Need:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour (240 g)
02 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Butter & Sugar

03 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (225 g)
04 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar (60 g), plus additional for coating
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Nuts (optional)

06 - 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans (75 g)

# Directions:

04 - Shape tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls. Place them about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly golden while tops remain pale.
